Yes for Smithville Students is a dedicated campaign focused on providing support and information for the 2025 bond issue to generate funding for significant improvements in the Smithville School District. Our mission is to create a positive impact through community engagement and advocacy for better educational facilities and opportunities.
What is the bond initiative and levy transfer?
We aim to raise funds for critical improvements in the Smithville School District, including infrastructure upgrades, technology advancements, and educational program enhancements. Your support can directly contribute to a better learning environment for students.
Why is this important for Smithville schools?
First and foremost take care of our valued staff and students of Smithville with the best our community has to offer. Retaining the wonderful staff in our schools is top priority. Also as part of the initiative, the schools will see investment in to learning spaces to include innovative space, furniture and equipment in career preparation spaces. On the athletic side, overdue improvements for softball and baseball facilities.
